Kate Parker (at the STEP Next Gen event in Cardiff) and Owain Rhys James (at the STEP Next Gen event in Swansea) delivered training on will drafting to an audience of trust and estate practitioners including solicitors, barristers, accountants, tax advisors, and linked professions.

The CPD session provided an overview of the formal requirements for a valid will together with identifying high risk areas such as capacity issues, undue influence, gifts to charity; together with hints and tips on best practice for those involved in will drafting.

Both Kate and Owain provide specialist drafting and advice in respect of wills and trusts; together with maintaining a strong contentious practice in all areas of linked work.

Chambers would also like to congratulate Zack Hayward on being appointed to the STEP Next Gen sub-committee.

Chambers will be hosting a Chancery, Business and Property Seminar in the Autumn. Details will be sent out in due course.
