Emily Jowitt

Emily began her pupillage in April 2026 under the supervision of Kate Parker and Owain Rhys James. She will be accepting instructions across all areas of Chambers’ practice from October 2026.

Originally from Malmesbury in Wiltshire, Emily attended Malmesbury Secondary School before undertaking an LLB in Law at Cardiff University, graduating with First Class Honours and winning their internal mooting competition, earning her a Mini-Pupillage with Civitas. She then completed the Bar Training Course at Cardiff University, achieving an Outstanding.

During her studies, Emily was involved with the University’s Environmental Pro-Bono scheme and was a writer and editor for The Justice Gap, in which her article on the Windrush Scandal was published. She takes a keen interest in Personal Injury and Chancery law.
