Caitlin Owen is a Barristers’ Clerk at Civitas Chambers, where she provides clerking and administrative support to members of chambers. Her role includes diary management, case administration, fee processing, and liaising with solicitors, barristers, court staff, and professional clients to ensure the smooth and efficient running of chambers.

Before joining Civitas Chambers, Caitlin built a career in administrative and client service roles across a variety of sectors. Through these positions, she developed strong organisational and communication skills, with experience managing busy workloads, handling confidential information, and delivering a high standard of service in fast-paced environments. She is recognised for her attention to detail, approachable manner, and ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and clients alike.

As part of the clerking team, Caitlin enjoys the varied nature of the role and the opportunity to support both barristers and those who instruct them. She takes pride in providing reliable administrative support and contributing to the efficient operation of chambers.

Outside of work, Caitlin is a qualified street dance teacher with many years of teaching, choreographing, and performing experience. Throughout her dance career, she has competed at British, European, and World Championship level, appeared on Got to Dance, and auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent. The dedication, discipline, and resilience developed through dance continue to influence her professional approach and commitment to achieving high standards in her work.
