Regulatory & Complaints Information

Civitas Chambers is committed to delivering the highest standard of legal representation and client service. We actively monitor the quality of service provided by our members and staff through both formal and informal feedback.

We take all client concerns seriously. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service-whether related to conduct, communication, or performance-we encourage you to raise the matter with us. All complaints are treated with care, investigated appropriately, and responded to as promptly as possible.

Our Approach

  • We aim to resolve all concerns fairly, courteously, and in a timely manner.
  • Our complaints procedure is clear, accessible, and available to all clients, staff, and members of chambers, including mediators.
  • All complaints are handled with sensitivity and in strict confidence, including during the investigation process.
  • Timeframes for responses are communicated clearly and adhered to wherever possible.

We understand that issues can occasionally arise, and our goal is to address and resolve them constructively and professionally.

If you have concerns about harassment, discrimination, or victimisation, we encourage you to report them to us at the earliest opportunity.
